A lovely set of four hand-colored mid-19th century steel engravings by W.H. Bartlett in custom antique mirror frames. Tags on the back state that they were “Framed and Styled for Zipperman Furniture Co.” W.H. Bartlett was an illustrator who trained as an architect and is noteworthy among his peers for having travelled to all of the places he drew rather than relying on sketches by others.
