A haunting duo of encaustic portraits by Eric Blum, depicting a female subject and a male subject. Currently of the three shown, we have the two on the left. These encaustics are created by mixing layers of watercolor and beeswax on canvas that result in this dimensional artwork. Eric Blum is a NY-based artist who’s been working in encaustic since the late 1980s. He has exhibited in galleries across the US, including Gallery Satori, David Weinberg Gallery, Lemmons Contemporary and Marcia Woods Gallery.
