Pair of William Haines Armature Floor Lamps
Very rare pair of walnut and iron armature lamps designed by William Haines from the Beverly Hills Estate of Jack and Ann Warner. These lamps were a staple in many Haines interiors. Also constructed in table lamp versions the floor lamps are much harder to come by. This example comes with the addition of an excellent provenance having been designed for Warner and then remaining in a private collection until now. The African Tribal figures are a later addition as in many cases the artefacts that were originally used very often have been separated since they were not altered to make the lamps. The shades on this pair of lamps are fashioned from original Maria Kipp shades that have been reworked to suite these floor lamps. All original with minor restoration to the veneers. This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of uniquely American design history. The measurements for the base only (no shade) D 13″ x W 8″ x H 73″.
