This Egyptian Revival style Console and Mirror features tesselated stone and shell with brass inlays. Made by Maitland Smith in the 1980s, the console enhanced with Sphinx heads above the front legs and brass inlays veneered in a combination of both Penshell (mimicking tortoise shell) and various marbles. The mirror features the same heads and various veneers. The measurements in the listing are those of the console. The mirror measures 28.5″W X 40.25″H X 2.75″D. These pieces would easily add interest to any area of a home.
