A fantastic hand chased copper bust with a brass ribbon and swirls of brass “hair”.
This beautiful sculpture was made by Karl F. Schmidt, who apprenticed with Franz Hagenauer and worked his way up to factory head/executive director at Werkstätten Hagenauer before leaving to found his own studio.
Stamped on the underside “Atelier Schmidt Wein” and “Made in Austria”.
