This is a wonderful brutalist metal task lamp. This lamp is styled after Gino Sarfatti’s Rodchenko inspired lamp. Inspired by Aleksandr Rodchenko’s stage design for Inga (1929), Gino Sarfartti produced a task lamp for Arteluce in the early 1970s. The constructivism and the distinct style of this lamp is unmistakable. The lamp has a rectangular base. The lamp’s stem is typified by the cut triangular piece welded to the base. The light and cone shade is welded to the stem, utilizing 2 additional geometric shapes. This sculptural lamp would be a wonderful addition to any interior, perfect for desk task lamp! This lamp has great presence and makes a strong statement.
