An elegant hinged onyx box with pieta dura decoration of a blue flower made with lapis inlays, framed within a band of malachite inlay. Cut stone with a 1/8 inch bevel about the top, connected with a brass hinge. Signed underneath “F.LLI. Berti Florence/made in Italy.”
