A dramatic armature table lamp with a textured painted wood base displaying a Persian Kulah Khud helmet and a black silk shade overlaid with a Lurex casement. The iron helmet is heavily engraved with figures and Arabic script and has a chain mail neck guard. As the nose guard is fixed, it appears to be a 19th century ceremonial Kulah Khud that was later incorporated into this lamp.
