These benches, created by William Haines for the home of the Brody’s located in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles are a part of a collection executed in iron rod. This design was offered in both a seating version (as seen here) and also as a table using a perforated metal top. There have been very few of these to come to market. In the photos attached the final two images are of the stools in place at the Brody residence on the terrace outside the dining room. These images are from Class Act, William Haines, Legendary Hollywood Decorator. I have chosen to use leather to upholster the benches but if you were to choose to use them outdoors they can easily be reupholstered in an appropriate fabric. Truly a unique design.
